Miss 7x7 is a love letter to San Francisco. The concept emerged in 2023 when Cecilia Romero took a moment to reflect on her past and aspirations. It quickly became clear that her passion for exploring San Francisco and sharing her unique experiences as a local couldn't be ignored. San Francisco belongs to everyone and we are dedicated to celebrating the city's vibrant culture and treasures.
As for the name, San Francisco is often called “7x7” due to its approximate dimensions of 7 miles by 7 miles, totaling just under 49 square miles. Miss 7x7 acknowledges that it was founded on the unceded ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula.
